Should Antibiotics Be Restricted?

I think that antibiotics should not be restricted since they are very important to us. Antibiotics are very useful in many ways. First of all, antibiotics are also known as antibacterials, and they are drugs used to treat infections caused by bacteria. They cure disease by killing or injuring bacteria. The first antibiotic was penicillin, discovered accidentally from a mold culture. Today, over 100 different antibiotics are available to doctors to cure minor discomforts as well as life-threatening infections. This is one big reason why antibiotics shouldn't be restricted since they are used to cure many life-threatening infections. Another reason that we shouldn't restrict antibiotics is that they are required for our food supplies since our food supply depends on the use of antibiotics on agriculture. Without antibiotics, our huge population would have a problem with the food supply. But antibiotics also does bad things to us too. Overusing them had caused many bacteria to developed resistance to antibiotics, for example tuberculosis. In the future, antibiotics can't be used to repel these bacteria. Also, overusing them causes many bacteria to die out where these bacteria could be very important to us. This is because some bacteria in our bodies helps us prevent other bacteria that's bad to our body.

Even though we know that consuming too much antibiotics will harm us, we just need to consume them not too overloading. It is something that is used as medicine today so they are pretty important to us when an infection comes. These antibiotics will eventually saves our life. They even help us to kill off bacteria in our food supplies so that we won't get infected and get sick. So this is why I think that antibiotics should not be restricted. Antibiotics prevent us all many kind of sickness and illness.
